Venus governs relationships, attraction, love, money, values, pleasure, beauty, self-worth, and the things we consider worthwhile. During the pre-retrograde shadow, situations involving these areas may begin developing that will later deserve another look once Venus turns retrograde.

Because this cycle begins in Libra, relationships and interpersonal balance receive particular emphasis. Questions surrounding reciprocity, compromise, fairness, attraction, boundaries, and whether both people are contributing equally may gradually become more important.

Financial priorities and personal values can also shift. Something you want, value, spend money on, or consider important now may look somewhat different once Venus begins its review process.

Growth does not necessarily require starting over; sometimes it comes from strengthening the foundation underneath what you are already building.

3:46 PM EDT — Moon in Aries Opposite Venus in Libra

The Moon opposes Venus shortly after Venus has entered its pre-retrograde shadow, creating temporary tension between what we personally want and what maintains harmony with someone else.

Relationship expectations, affection, approval, spending, pleasure, or questions of fairness may become more emotionally noticeable.

Because Venus has just begun its shadow period, pay attention to anything meaningful that surfaces. A relationship, financial, or values-related theme stirred by this brief lunar opposition could become relevant again later in the Venus retrograde cycle.
